All The Pointe readers know that I am into fashion, even if I don't post about it as often as I would like. With that being said, my dear Pointe readers also know that enjoy sharing new finds either by adding a new link to my side bar under Chubby Fashion or by writing about my find. With all that being said, I recently had the pleasure of viewing a clothing site that is dedicated to the tween "plus-size" girl. Because of this, I feel that it is important that I post about this gem of an online store. Too often, this age group gets ignored when it comes to clothing, much to the frustrations of those who within this age group as well as their parents.
It Chick Clothes cater especially to 7-12 year old girls. Though their clothing selection is a bit limited compared to other online clothing stores, there isn't a single item of clothing that I wouldn't buy my own daughter (if I had one). All the items of clothing are very cute and trendy, which is something that I know from personal experience starts to become very important at this age.
One of my favorite items that I myself would wear if it was available in 2x pink or black is the Retro Skate Tee which is available in five colors:

I'm also a huge fan of the Polka Dot Skooter which is also available in other colors:

And without a doubt, my favorite ensemble that I saw posted was the Distressed Denim Mini outfit:

This outfit is beyond cute! I can already see it matched with an adorable pair of ballet flats or even some flip-flops.
The prices seem very reasonable to me and their shipping rates are a flat-rate $4.99 within the U.S. and $8.99 for everywhere else. Plus, they have a very good return policy and they welcome feedback from parents on how they're store/selection could be improved upon.
So, if you are a parent of a tween girl and just overall frustrated with what is out there, please give It Chick Clothes a chance. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
Also, let me know how your experience was and what you thought of the clothing. Send pictures if you want. I would love to get the word out on clothing catered to tweens.
I love those T-shirts! Ah, how I miss roller skating! I would totally buy a pair--do they even still make them? I'd bought rollerblades a few years ago, but haven't used them in ages.
